Im Scared!!
This Saturday will be my first time giving plasma. I'm so scared becuase i hate needles and have never done anything like this before. I have never gave blood because i hate the sight of needles they just creep me out. I'm doing this because it is a good thing to do and they give you about $60 a week. The money would really help me out a lot so that is why i'm making myself do this. I'm very scared and keep thinking i'm gonna die or something haha. Good luck to me! I'm sure it will all go ok, but i have to sit there for about an hour with something i am very scared of stuck inside of me pumping out plasma. Just the thought of it scares me. I look forward to letting you all know how it goes!

Oh my god! My mom gives plasma twice a week and she keeps trying to talk me into going with her. I'm scared of needles though too! I keep telling myself that I need the money, but I just really dont want to do it! Maybe I'll work up enough courage to do it soon though! :)
I gave plasma last year for the money as well. Dont be scared its not that bad! But if you dont like needles...look away when they put it in your arm and ask them to cover it up while you sit there! Its just a small discomforting feeling. No MAJOR pain or anything! good luck.
youre so lucky you can even do that! last year i wanted to give blood for my schools blood drive, and you have to be 110 lbs to do it...well guess what i was 109! i tried and tried to gain weight but apparently it didnt work...id give anything to be able to give blood or plasma its for such a good cause!!
I was actually thinking about giving plasma too, but I'm really scared. I also hate needles, but maybe I'll give it a shot.
