hunting!

This weekend i went hunting for the first time!...well kind of. I was in the cities for awhile and right when i came back this last friday my boyfriend and i went with his dad. I don't have a license or anything but i just went along for the fun of it. It was REALLY cold and REALLY boring. I really enjoyed spotting deer though, it was kind of intense. Wish i could have shot one!

Redwing!

This weekend would be the second time i have made a trip up to the Redwing Casino. The very first time i went i made about 30 dollars profit! i was really excited. This time i went i had the same luck. The whole night i played off of one dollar!!! Thats it! I'm not really into wasting all my money on the games i don't know how to play, but there is one game in particular that i stay and play for the whole night and don't move. The slot is called Island Poker and the game i play is called Dueces Wild. Everytime i play that game my luck is amazing. LIke i already said for the 5 hours i was in the casino playing the game dueces wild i played off of one dollar. I ended up making 15 dollars profit off of that dollar and decided to cash out, 15 dollars is a lot for just putting in one dollar. My boyfriend and his friend wanted to stay longer so i ended up getting bored watching them and losing my 15 profit off of a game and only walking away losing one dollar the whole night. Pretty nice id say.

Oh no i'm a gambler...

A few weeks ago i learned how to play Texas Holdem. At first it was hard to understand but once i got the hang of it it started to get pretty fun and competitive. The only time i have ever really considered myself to be a gambler is when about 5 months ago i went to Redwing with some friends. I didn't know anything about most of the card games there so while they were all off playing blackjack and texas holdem i stayed at a slot machiene the whole time. It was actually really fun and i got the hang of it pretty quick. They were ready to leave at about 2 in the morning but i said no way! I drove so they couldn't leave without me and i was having too much fun on the slot machiene. We ended up staying at Redwing until about 4 in the morning. I just couldn't stop myself! So now that i learned how to play Texas Holdem that is pretty much all i wanna do every night, its not good! Me, my boyfriend and his roomates usually put in 5 dollars every time to start. Sometimes we just bet on 1 dollar lottery tickets, anything works! And i have actually even won against them a few games, i'm getting pretty good i think but man...being a gambler is expensive...and me and my boyfriend sometimes will go buy a bunch of lottery tickets just for fun...I hope this phase ends because it's gonna run me out of money :(

KARMA

Since my birthday 2 months ago I still have yet to go get my driver's license renewed! My car has been getting fixed for about that long so it's not like i have been really driving at all except to work and class when i borrow my mom's car. On my way to class this morning, on my luck, i got into a little car accident. I was pulling out into the street when a girl came out of nowhere and hit the side of my car. We were both ok, and it wasn't anything major. She had NO damage to her car at all but unfortunately for me the whole front end pretty much was off. She had no problem not calling in the accident because nothing happened to her car, and i definitely had no problem calling it in considering i did not have a valid driver's license and i have no money for any tickets. It sucks that i have to pay for it, but it isn't going to be that expensive and no tickets for me! I feel because i keep putting off getting my license that this is karma to show me a lesson. I think it will be a good idea to go get my license a.s.a.p.!!

HALLOWEEN

Every year i have a lot of fun on Halloween and i get very excited for it! I love trying to decide what i'm going to be every year, the candy and especially the scary movies! This year for Halloween i'm going to be a pink lady with a couple of my friends. Get to wear the pink jacket with leggings and dress up all cute it will be fun. I love how on tv they always have the 13 days of halloween. That is when for 13 days or so all they play is scary movies. It is a good time and scary movies are my favorite!

i miss my family...

When i moved to lacrosse last year i knew it would be hard. I lived in Westby with my mom, step dad Steve, and my little brother Dayton. I am very close to my family but was still very excited to move and get away to something new. Now, i barely see my family at all. My mom and I talk on the phone a lot, and once in awhile she will come up to see me. Westby isn't very far away, but i never have the time to go, and gas is expensive! My brother and I used to get in stupid arguments all the time. As mean as it sounds, i would pick on him just to piss him off. I thought it was so funny and got a laugh out of it. My mom called me the other day telling me that my brother misses me very much and that he wouldn't care how much we fought and how many times i yelled at him that didn't matter, he just wanted his sister back. I thought it was cute and i do miss him as well. It must be hard for him being the only one in the house all the time now, he says he gets really bored with out me. I miss my family very much, even my little brother! When i was younger i would give ANYTHING to move out of the house and i couldn't wait to be older....now i realize things change and you move on....it can be very exciting but a very sad change too.

Im Scared!!

This Saturday will be my first time giving plasma. I'm so scared becuase i hate needles and have never done anything like this before. I have never gave blood because i hate the sight of needles they just creep me out. I'm doing this because it is a good thing to do and they give you about $60 a week. The money would really help me out a lot so that is why i'm making myself do this. I'm very scared and keep thinking i'm gonna die or something haha. Good luck to me! I'm sure it will all go ok, but i have to sit there for about an hour with something i am very scared of stuck inside of me pumping out plasma. Just the thought of it scares me. I look forward to letting you all know how it goes!
