Oh no i'm a gambler...
A few weeks ago i learned how to play Texas Holdem. At first it was hard to understand but once i got the hang of it it started to get pretty fun and competitive. The only time i have ever really considered myself to be a gambler is when about 5 months ago i went to Redwing with some friends. I didn't know anything about most of the card games there so while they were all off playing blackjack and texas holdem i stayed at a slot machiene the whole time. It was actually really fun and i got the hang of it pretty quick. They were ready to leave at about 2 in the morning but i said no way! I drove so they couldn't leave without me and i was having too much fun on the slot machiene. We ended up staying at Redwing until about 4 in the morning. I just couldn't stop myself! So now that i learned how to play Texas Holdem that is pretty much all i wanna do every night, its not good! Me, my boyfriend and his roomates usually put in 5 dollars every time to start. Sometimes we just bet on 1 dollar lottery tickets, anything works! And i have actually even won against them a few games, i'm getting pretty good i think but man...being a gambler is expensive...and me and my boyfriend sometimes will go buy a bunch of lottery tickets just for fun...I hope this phase ends because it's gonna run me out of money :(

My boyfriend went through the same phase of buying way too many lottery tickets or scratch offs! He actually won $50 a couple times on scratch offs but he lost more than he ever made! he also likes to go to Redwing but he plays blackjack of course and has yet to win!! Sometime i will go along and play on the slots, but i definatly cant afford to now!
Iv'e played Texas Holdem a few times before too. My brother and dad play all the time so they thought it would be fun to teach me. It took me a while too to understand it, but it's actually kind of fun!
